US EMBASSY NEW DELHI invites applications for the following Job Openings:

OPENINGS:

Information Assistant (SPAN)
Salary: Starting salary will be determined on the basis of qualifications
and experience, and/or salary history.
Qualifications: 1. College degree is required in journalism/English Language/English literature/humanities/American studies/international relations or related fields.
2. Minimum five years of experience in reporting, editing, researching, writing, working with photographers or photographs, design or layout in journalistic operations.
3. Level IV (Fluency) in English (speaking/reading/writing) and Level III (good working knowledge) in Hindi/Urdu (reading) is required (When applying for the position, please indicate your level of proficiency for these languages)
4. Must possess a proven understanding of American government, society, culture, politics, economics and institutions.
